What it is

mento is a matching platform that connects people with selected coaches and mentors.

What I did

• Worked with the mento team as a design partner.
• Set the visual principles for the service, covering the logo, design patterns and the service website.
• Directed an illustration-led visual language instead of portrait photos.

Why illustration

Facial expressions are the fastest way to communicate, so we used illustrations to build empathy and show potential customers what coaching does for them. Coaching also touches on personal matters, so illustration let us avoid photos of real people.
